It just got way to stinking hot.  So we called it a day.

By the last wall I was getting pretty good at marking them out.  15 1/4 first stud, 16 on center for the rest.  X,B,X = Stud, block, stud… windows = K,J,C,C,C,J,K = king, jack, cripple, cripple, cripple, jack, king + header, sill and they get an additional 3/4 inch added to width and height.  Doors get 2 inches on width and 2.5 on height.  Rinse and repeat.

Of course all of this new learned knowledge will go the way of all that other tested knowledge.  Test over, purge from memory. Tis the House that Google and YouTube Built… but hopefully I retain enough I wont have to go searching and learning again!

One more little praise before more pics of the children – we just found out we will be able to skip next months truck payment with no penalties!!  Whoo hoo!!  Just that much more we can throw towards the next phase!!  PLUS June is a 5 paycheck month – and we all know what that means.  Thank you Lord!!!  Now to really move and get the storage units emptied in the next 10 days… wish us luck… that’s a lot of stuff to sort and try to sell…
